Amazon Locker theft

Hi
Sorry if this is in the wrong thread.
I returned a huawei tablet to an amazon locker on October 18th, no receipt which i thought unusual and sweated for 3 days until Amazon sent me an email stating the tablet was on its way back to them. i replied.
Waited 14 days and then asked what was happening with the refund. The guy said sorry and issued a refund, even got the official refund email the next morning.
Waited 5 days and then chased them up about the refund. The reply we will send it when we receive the tablet !!
I sent it 19 days ago i replied.
We do not have it they replied.
I have an email saying you had it on its way back to you.
We need it back physically before refund they replied.
Where is this legendary customer service ? I appreciate they need the tablet back but  none of their customer service people can see the tablet being returned on their system.

    What did Huawei say when you asked them how do I find out what has happened to my tablet?

    I have had several refunds from Amazon, it is processed as soon as scanned at collection, admittedly I use P.O. but would have thought same process.
    Do I need it or just want it.

    Your thread is entitled "Amazon Locker theft" yet your post mentions nothing about a theft.  You are surprised when someone asks about it!
  • I've had this before where a return got lost in transit after being collected from an Amazon locker. Didn't have to fight too hard to get a refund as there was evidence it was collected, it just never made it to the returns depot for whatever reason. I'd lodge a formal complain if they are still refusing to play along and get someone to actually investigate the issue - odds are the CS staff you've been in touch with can't actually do anything if their computer doesn't say they can.
