For those implying I'm stupid for buying through facebook - I didn't, I found the product there and bought through their website.

I just would love to stop this company trading but since they seem to be based in about 3 different countries I don't know if it's possible.

Sadly you are never going to stop a company from trading.

I think you misunderstand. No one was suggesting you bought ‘from’ Facebook. You saw an advert on Facebook and bought from the company advertising via their site , that is how adverts work. 

I’m sorry if the replies seem dismissive but regulars on here see several threads a week that start ‘ I saw an advert on Facebook’ and end up with ‘shoddy or completely different item turned up from the Far East and I’ve  been scammed’.

Unfortunately the reality is that you are unlikely to see any refund, just be thankful that yours, unlike some of the others, was not vastly expensive. Facebook are happy to take anybody’s money to advertise on there, the trick is to learn what to look for on a company’s web site before you buy.
