Lloyds switch & credit check?

Hi guys

I currently have Club Lloyds account. I wish to switch my soon to be poor paying interest TSB Classic Plus into it and get the £100 switch bonus. My enquiry is, as I already have a Club Lloyds account will a credit search be done during the switch process? My guess(and hope) is no. I am about to have my mortgage application approved, so don’t want any credit searches possibly flagging up.

Doing a switch into your existing club Lloyds account won’t do a credit check on you. The credit check is done at the account opening stage. 

Bear in mind if you have had a switching incentive from Lloyds since April 2018 you won’t be able to have a further switching bonus this time.

Well you're not supposed to get a further switching bonus, their systems are by no means perfect.
