Isn't that just the way Mee.
I remember seeing a huge stack of block pavers by the side of the road with free to a good home sign. In the process of moving house it would have been wonderful but could hardly ask the removals to drop by and pick them up :)

I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!

    Plasterboard.
If your  ground is clay it's perfect for loosening it up. It's organic and above all else it is ph neutral. Just score it on either side with a Stanley in a checkerboard pattern and scatter over the soil to be worked..._

Pallets stood up and use for tool storage, I. E. I have spades and forks, hoes etc. In one.
Focus on contribution instead of the impressiveness of consumption to see the true beauty in people.
  • Old barrels are great for drainage - I got an old water barrel from a skip dug a whole in a particularly wet patch in my allotment, drilled some wholes in the barrel and put some pieces of wood in it to support it from collapsing under the weight of the soil and placed it in the hole and covered it over with soil - works a treat as a sort of underground drainage tank!

My first visit to said skip was a little hit and miss as the main one was gone by the time I got there. Managed to get three posts and a mini pallet. Nearer home have found more wood/planks, some more bricks, blue tubing and some heavy duty black sheeting.

I was tempted by an unopened 10Lt container of paint but couldn't lift it up out of the skip:#
