Black spots on internal brickwork

Hi all
In the conservatory I have noticed some black spots on the inside wall. At first it looked like a black felt tip mark but then I noticed a couple more. Is this mould? Pics attached. Only moved in the summer so not sure if they were there before and i am only just noticing them.
The conservatory is attached to the rear of the house with a dwarf brick wall around two parts and the other (where the marks are) is a full brick wall.

Looks to me like a black dye was added to the mortar. If the dye isn't well mixed in, you do sometimes get a few spots in the joints. Tends to be when the powder type, rather than the liquid one is used.1

Just a few specs of something included in the mortar. Nothing to worry about. Bricks and mortar look perfect.1
