Connecting Bluetooth Headphones to TV?

I am trying to connect some bluetooth headphones to my Panasonic EX750 TV and for some reason they will not pair. I have put the headphones in the pairing mode (led flashing) gone into the Panasonic menu bluetooth setup to search for devices and nothing is found.  However, they will pair and work through a Amazon Firestick with no problem. Any ideas please?

    The Bluetooth on this TV is only for a keyboard / mouse / Panasonic 3d eyewear only.

    It can't be used to connect audio devices.

    Try a bluetooth aux adapter to connect. My tv doesn't have bluetooth but I plug the adapter into the aux port and it allows me to connect my bluetooth headphones.
