Clean the windscreen, inside and out.
    Wear sunglasses.
    Use the sunvisor.
    All good advice.
A couple of weeks ago, having mis-placed the polarising sunglassses that I normally keep in the car, I went into Boots to pick up a new pair...only to be told that they now only stock sunglasses during the summer months...  Oh well, another nail in the high-street coffin!

It's supply and demand, no point carrying millions of quids worth of stock when you might sell a couple a week; strangely it's a corporate decision that does make some sense, did they offer to order any in for you?

Yes, I understand supply and demand, but the store was one-third empty "waiting for Christmas stock", so they were not in a good position to "supply" anything and I was the only one in the whole store, so at that point I was 100% of the "demand". They always used to keep at least one rotary stand of sunglasses through the winter and expand on that in summer, but when I asked, I was treated with scorn. No suggestion that they could get me any. Amazon order was delivered the next day. I really do want to support local jobs, but sometimes they just don't help themselves!
