Lost Log Book

I have stupidly misplaced my log book. I applied on DVLA website for a new one and it says it should take 5 working days to arrive. Has anyone else used this service to apply for a replacement log book? Does it really come within 5 working days?

I have searched all over the web and can't find any verification on this. Hopefully this post will help others too.

Yes, if it's just a straight replacement, it should come through fairly quickly. It's entirely automated.

In the 80’s, it used to take a lot longer.

Ok it took 3 working days. I applied on a Friday and received it Wednesday.

⁸you are probably right! But I needed it for a part exchange on my car so it's now with dealer and the one for my new car is getting put in a safe guarded by dogs lol
