Wrong name on car insurance

Hi, we've come across a problem when changing car insurance, in that even though the name is correct on our insurance documents the company sent us last year, it was not on the insurance's system, they have admitted it was a problem with their system. But even though the actual car was insured (we've been paying the insurance company monthly), it wasn't in my husbands name, so does that mean if we had been in an accident we wouldn't have been covered by insurance?

If they've admitted their mistake, then you'll be fine.0
