Help with a small leak and non-standard sized pipes
So I was tidying up a messy box that hid plumbing and found I've got a small leak where a waste pipe connects to my soil pipe.
It seems the boss adaptor in use isn't very tight. The issue is, that the waste pipe is 40mm (fine) but the hole/small bit of pipe that sticks of the soil pipe out is 50mm whereas I think they are normally about 60mm. This means any boss adaptor is too big to fit.
The other issue is that the waste pipe doesn't head straight in and the two pipes are at slightly different angles.
Any ideas please on what can be done here without dismantling my wall to get to my soil pipe and taking my soil pipe apart?

This shows the angle the waste pipe is going into the soil pipeThew waste pipe is 40mm and the part sticking out of the soil pipe is 50mm0 -
TBH looking at the marks on the waste pipe they were aligned at one point. Has that bit of soil pipe been twisted at some point?
It looks as thought the soil pipe was twisted for that water? pipe just to the right of it.2 -
If you go to your local plumbers merchants with that picture and the measurements, they'll have something to help. You can get flexible couplers that are like a rubber sleeve with a jubilee clip at each end - something like that should do the trick.1

I thought that but for the life of me I can't get it straight. It's actuallly a cable just to the right not a piperob7475 said:If you go to your local plumbers merchants with that picture and the measurements, they'll have something to help. It's currently a 40mm going into what I thought was a 50mm pipe. Turns out it is slightly larger than 50mm I think about 52mm so none of the couplers will fit.Have no idea why my pipe is such an odd size. I've shown local merchants the current boss adaptor and none of them have anything like it.Might try some plumbers mait with my existing boss adaptor.0

I initially bought a standard 40mm boss adaptor and it wouldn't fit into my soil pipe (not even close). I've used some plumbers mait and it seems to be holding strong
