Hi
Please could I have recommendations for a reliable General Office PC - will have to run the usual software, Microsoft Office etc, Also, where would I look to buy it from?
I haven't worked in a business environment for about 12 years - going back then, Dell was what I used but I'm not up-to-date with what is good now.
Many thanks

Depends on what level of support, service, uptime contingency you need.If you are going to be self supporting and just need the box, get a refurbished Lenovo Thinkcentre (desktop) or Thinkpad (laptop) off ebay. Anything with an i5 processor should be fine for routine office work.0

You couldn't go far wrong by looking at the Medion desktops available online from Aldi.Purchased my own 7 years ago and still going strong. They come with a 3 year warranty. The basic Medion Ryzen 3 comes with Windows 10 Home installed which you might wish to upgrade to Wondows 10 Pro.There are 3 currently in the range I looked at the other day, 2 of which were aimed at gamers and may have a spec which exceeds your needs.Personally when I was in business, we always used to believe that Dell computers (particularly the laptops) had a built in obsolesence of circa 4 years. But things may have changed since then.0
