Having an interview during lock down

Hi 

I wondered if you were able to answer my question, regarding rules during lockdown, 

I have an interview that is scheduled for Friday, it would mean mixing with people not in my household, or bubble.

It is 30 miles from my home so travel would have to be undertaken. I am of the understanding when reading the rules if i have read it correctly that this would now not be allowed? 
would i be better canceling and re-schedule 

please advise

It's travel for business, assuming we're talking about job interview.

Its technically for work/training purposes, so perfectly allowed. Do you want the job or not?

Thankyou for your reply, I didn't want to put myself in a situation that was against the rules.

Have you called the potential employer to ask if they still wished to proceed with a in person face-2-face interview?   Could it be done instead by Zoom or MS Team?

I'm not sure why you've come to that conclusion. The mention of households not mixing is under a heading of "Friends and Family" in the government guidance. The guidance is very clear that workplaces not forced to close can carry on as they have been doing up until now.
