ScS Price Drop pre Delivery

Hi,
in August I bought 2 new sofas, a chair & a footstool from ScS.
in August I bought 2 new sofas, a chair & a footstool from ScS.
I bought it on interest free credit with no deposit & the total was £3170. Delivery is supposed to be this month sometime so I went online to check to see if the new lockdown restrictions are affecting deliveries. While I was looking for this I was surprised to see a banner ad for the same sofas I purchased. Surprised because the salesman told me they had very limited stock of this model , ‘once they’re gone, they’re gone’ & that it would never be available again or be that price, the August BH sale would be the last time it’s offered . To be fair, this didn’t really have a bearing on my decision as I really like the sofa so probably would have bought it regardless of the limit stock rush tactics.
The same set is now around £500 cheaper , as I’ve not taken delivery yet nor started paying for it , am I within my rights to ask them to honour the now considerably cheaper price for a suite they told me would never be available again??

Of course. Ask them and see what they say. Just bear in mind that the sofas might not be absolutely identical and if they allow you to cancel and re-order at the new price, you might join the back of the queue for delivery.0

Seriously, if it had gone up £500 would you be wanting to give them an extra £500 ?2 -
No, absolutely I wouldn’t ..& had the sofa been delivered & I was paying for it I wouldn’t be bothered but as it hasn’t & I’m not AND i was told it was end of line & it was a promotion because of that I feel like I’ve been a bit mislead ...0

Maybe they didn't sell all of the end of line ones so have now reduced them to get rid of them .2
