Woken this morning by my handsets all unable to contact base unit.
The base unit appears to be dead - no mains light, - tried another socket (that is live).
Is this likely to be the base unit itself or the mains adaptor ?

More likely to be the mains adaptor. About £9 on eBay.0

Great. Nine times out of ten it turns out to be the mains adaptor. They are built down to a price.
