Barclaycard statement help needed

Wondering if anyone can offer any advice over an issue I’ve had trying to obtain copy statements from Barclaycard?
i have recently suffered a serious house fire resulting in the total loss of a lot of the family possessions and the only way I can prove ownership is through my credit card statements. Barclaycard only go back a year online and over the last 6 weeks I have been speaking to their customer services about obtaining the last 5 years prior to this. They are telling me they’ve sent the statements out by post to me on 4 separate occasions (they can only send by post not electronically) and even to a second address after the third attempt. Twice also they’ve told me to try in a Barclays Bank branch where they’ve been less than helpful telling me it’s not something they can do (despite customer services representative telling me they also work in branch and do this function).
I am going to start a complaints procedure against them but if anyone has any other advice it would be welcome as I just need these statements.

It would be easier to get the data via a SAR, but it may not be in a customer friendly fashion.

and the only way I can prove ownership is through my credit card statements.
Has your insurance company confirmed that it will accept credit card statements as proof of ownership? All a credit card statement entry does is state that a card was used at a retailer, not what was purchased from that retailer.
