Check the website for the nearest court to the postcode , that is obvious ! ,  Google it

And it's a County Court , not a country court , you need the court for civil claims , some are combined , some aren't

The second post in the newbies FAQ sticky thread near the top of the forum has a guide to filling in the DQ

    Yes.

Also, for D1 - I have no idea what to fill in..given the situation I won't be able to physically go to any courts so I'd prefer a phone hearing; but what Country Court should i choose?
By the side of box D1 it says "For further information see CPR Parts 3, 12, 13, 14 and 26".
    Does that help?

Not sure what you are asking here, but does Courtfinder help?

Thanks both for the reply; indeed it's county not country (typo on my end); I looked at the guide (maybe i missed it), but i only saw this:
D1 = name of your local County Court – unless you are a Limited company, the case files will be transferred there. They will ask for theirs but protocol dictates it is your court. For example, MIL Collections always asks for Truro and Devere Parking always ask for Bournemouth. You, literally, do not want to go there.

Thanks, found where the link came from, hidden here: (to be honest did not know what CPR meant, but could have googled it)

3.4  HMCTS identifies the County Court hearing centre or office which serves the address of a claimant, a defendant, a debtor, or their place of business, or a property, by reference to the party's or the property's postcode. The hearing centre which serves the address of a party or a property can be found by using the Court Finder tool available on Gov.uk at https://courttribunalfinder.service.gov.uk/, or by contacting the County Court hearing centre which supplied the claim form or the application form.

Meanwhile i have found 2 that are suggested, does it matter which one I pick?

Barnet Civil and Family Courts Centre / Clerkenwell and Shoreditch County Court and Family Court

    Much appreciated

Pick the one most convenient to you unless a poster has knowledge of them and can say that one is better due to sympathetic judge.

I've only heard of parking cases being heard at Clerkenwell, not Barnet, so maybe they get funnelled there anyway.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    Hello,
So I haven't received this yet, decided to fill it in based on the blank form and send it; just to double check a few things:
top box at the top, IN THE; do i put County Court Business Centre?
Also, for D1 - I have no idea what to fill in..given the situation I won't be able to physically go to any courts so I'd prefer a phone hearing; but what Country Court should i choose? Is there a website where i can check availability around the post code?
    Thanks!

What you mention above ...... MIL are history, they ran a scam.  Truro is a parking scammers graveyard now and Bournemouth which is in the Southampton area is probably just as much a graveyard.
You chose the closest to you and of course you select a phone hearing but NEVER mediation

BWLegal are known to most courts with their £60 scam so that is a -1 for them
  • Hello,
So I have filled the DQ and sent it via email to CCBACAQ@justice.gov.uk and 3d legal on 14th of December, however the claim history is unchanged:
    Claim History

Your acknowledgment of service was received on 22/10/2020 at 08:05:27

Your defence was received on 19/11/2020

DQ sent to you on 03/12/2020

Meantime i have also received (yesterday) a Notice of Proposed Allocation to the Small Claims Track, part of it mentioning this:

Should I be worried that I've sent it via email? (same way I did with my defence, which was acknowledged) - or it just takes a while to be updated?

    Thank you

It used to take a while to be updated and probably made worse at the moment due to Covid rules and the time of year affecting staff attendance.  If you received an auto response to your e-mail submission to CCBCAQ@Justice.gov.uk although your post states CCBACAQ@justice.gov.uk, you should be OK.  If not, check the actual e-mail address you used.  It should be the same as the one to which you sent your defence.
Fortunately, according to that letter, you still have time to submit.
  • Hi,
Thanks for the reassurance; it was indeed CCBCAQ; i just typed it wrong (as the copy-paste straight from the email had weird formatting). I received the auto response, so I will wait. Much appreciated.
