Miss- managed administration on inheritance that should have been paid into IVA

So, I finished my IVA two months ago and received my certificate of completion and final report last week. Upon looking at the final report I noticed that some inheritance I was due hadn't been paid into the IVA, worried the money had gone missing I phoned the solicitor dealing with the estate, and was told they still held the funds. The solicitor told me they hadn't realised the funds to the debt management company, because the completion of the paperwork sent by the debt management company wasn't satisfactory.
Now that the IVA is finished and I have the certificate of completion, do the debt management company still have a legal claim to the money?
