Typical credit card limit in comparison to income
Comments
-
My wife and I are pensioners in our 70's and if I total up my 6 credit card limits it comes to £23950, which is more than our joint income from pensions.1

My credit limits on all cards combined are about 2.5 times my usual annual income declared on self- assessment. Actual salary through paye is very small.
I use 2-3% of total amount of limits.1 -
Credit card limits are currently 100% of my annual income. I don't work. Will be interested to see how much I can increase the limits once I get my State Pension in early 2021. Don't need the credit... day to day spending accounts for about 50% of my Barclaycard and 10% of the other two cards.#2 Saving for Christmas 2024 - £1 a day challenge. £325 of £3661
