Has anyone had issues with a mobile phone repair company called ELECTRONIC PARTNERS? I submitted my mother’s ageing but otherwise excellent condition Galaxy Note 5 for a replacement battery as they had given a reasonable quote. They submitted a condition report that confirmed it was in good condition with no damage. Some time later I had an email saying that they may damage the glass of the phone in doing the replacement and we will need to pay a further £79 to replace the screen if broken by them. As I have since found out that this procedure is all done from the rear, I refused and they returned it....... with a damaged screen!
I have tried complaining and asked for the damage to be repaired which would involve a replacement screen, they deny any responsibility even though we have sent a copy of the original condition report. We have written to ask for it to be rectified and also asked for details of any professional bodies they are part of to help possibly mediate but to no avail and have now stopped responding.
What is the next step to take and has anyone else had any dealings with this shocking company? Their website made them seem quite professional.
