9/11 led to interest rate cuts which pushed up house prices, this scenario is nothing like 9/11 and nothing like the banking crisis of 2008 where printing money could have some effect, most people are probably not selling to NHS staff hence the price drops that seem to be coming thick and fast now?Angela_D_3 said:except much as they did after 9/11 and 2008 people become numb to it and just get on with living their lives. The thread happens to be about them though, and my point was that just because people get used to the news (let`s face it the TV news have been going full tilt on this nearly all year) it doesn`t help them much economically?0
