To enter your space, enter as the blue arrow shows, turn RIGHT, then reverse in from there.
I always like to reverse into a space, much less chance of getting stuck in by someone elses bad parking.
Parking against a wall means you only have to worry about the car on one side of you scraping yours.

Why should I turn right into that nook and then reverse from there when I can do it on the opposite end (three spots below spot 2)?

And yes, I forgot to put that in the original post, that was another reason why I chose my space, one less car to worry about. But I now realise that parking against wall means you cannot "drive past" your space so that you can reverse in.

I am finished with work for the day, so going downstairs now to see how the reversing thing works out.

    Thanks!

So for anyone who is interested, I have attached a revised image, now that I have gone down and tested stuff:

@ProDave you're right. Trying to do the reverse in the nook under space 5 was not really possible, without like a 100 turns. This is because my car fit in snugly in that nook, such that it was right up against the wall. Trying to reverse at an angle would then mean I would scrape my car against the wall. I thought I would have a bit more space than that.

So I have to drive in take a right as you said so that I ended up in the nook underneath space 4, then reverse all the way until I reached my spot.

And once I reached my spot, it was definitely much easier parking.

    Just so much hassle!

    Thanks a bunch.
