Tesco Credit Card Clubcard Points?

I have become an additional cardholder on my wife's Tesco Credit Card (easiest way to get a new credit card) to replace my Nationwide Select card.
If I use my (her) Tesco clubcard and pay with the Tesco credit card in store I get 1 point for every £1 spent plus 1 point for every £4 spent.
So 5 points for every £4?
Also 1 points for £2 spent on petrol so 3 points per £4 on Tesco petrol?

Yes.  Plus 1 point for every £8 spent elsewhere. Also points at Tesco Esso Alliance forecourts - 1 point per £3 fuel and 1 point per £ in the shop / carwash on top of the credit card spend points.  I prefer to use my Tesco debit card at Tesco - 2 points per £ both in store and petrol

Depends which Credit Card she has, you can find a breakdown of all of them here:

Regardless of how you pay, if you use a Tesco Debit or Credit Card as a Clubcard in a Petrol Filling Station, you will get 1 point per £ (+ the 1 point per £1/2/4 depending, if you choose to pay using a Tesco Credit Card). Do not scan any other Clubcard in a Tesco PFS, otherwise you will only get 1 point per £2 spent.

So I don't need to use my clubcard when I pay using my Tesco credit card in Tesco stores and filling stations?

At self service pumps and checkouts it will ask for your clubcard, you insert the credit card and it will ask if you want to pay with the card.

Correct. You can even insert your credit card, see it registers as a Clubcard, then pay on another card - if you desire.
