    It was not the HTB ISA that I was thinking of, but the Help to Buy scheme, so if you put down 5% they will put down 20% and you only need a mortgage for 70%. If you have enough to reach 5% then it may be worth acting now, depending on your circumstances, but only you will know if that works for you.

    Bear in mind that the new builds are often over priced just because the builders know that your choice is limited if you want to use the HTB scheme.
