At this stage, nothing can be any more than rumours.  Large companies cannot make and implement this type of decision within 24 weekend hours, especially when the action does not need to come in before the end of the week.

And it has to be voted on in Parliament first.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

Agree. We're not overly large, but won't be making any decisions until the morning. Bigger companies will likely not have information until very late on Monday or Tuesday.

Parts of what we do are more essential than others (the largest part has been closed since March), and this will factor into any decisions that are made.

Okays - I get it re those shops.

But OP is coming over as not wanting to go into work....and looking for get-outs.
Not at all. I'm just wondering what the difference is between the first lockdown and the next one.
    Schools are staying open
Businesses are more prepared so are less likely to close down in panic  whilst  they sort out how they are going to operate

Hopefully they will call you in, that would suggest they are confident they will continue trading.

An answer isn't spam just because you don't like it......

Realistically that's just a formality though.

And just for clarity - no one is going to be forced to work, they might be expected to work (the cheek of it, expecting people to do the job they expect to be paid for!) but can't be forced.

Don't want to work when expected to do so? Don't worry about it - They'll take your resignation and have your replacement as quickly as they need!
