There is no help with the fees...save the money you have when stop paying your debts.
Most interviews are now by phone

Your 10 year old bankruptcy will have no bearing on this one, don’t worry. You will definitely not have a face to face interview, all are being carried out by phone at the moment.

The requirement to go to court was removed some years ago.
Everything is been done remotely just now, escpecially as we move into another lock down.
The fee is £680, and can be paid in installments, there is no remmision, and nothing happens till the full fee is paid.

  • No they belong to your husband and are not your assets.

Please stop panicking and stop and breath. It’s just money and you can’t go to prison for being in debt.  Give someone like National Debtline a ring tomorrow and go through everything with them and they’ll help you.

Sweetie, you haven’t asked too much at all. I know this is very frightening and worrying and the wonderful people on this board will try and help you through your journey and answer as best we can but one of the things we ask you do as well for your own peace of mind and ours is take free, professional advice from one of the debt charities. They can look at your complete circumstances and take personal details that we can’t to help you.

You don’t need any paperwork if you don’t have it. Just as much detail of the debt as you can possibly give. If the OR wants paperwork you don’t have s/he can get it from the source.

I take it the account is in your your husband’s name and not joint so the OR won’t be interested in it at all. It’s his account and he’s not going BR, you are, so it’s your accounts he is interested in. If you have any joint accounts then take your name off them so he is not linked to you and his credit file  is not affected before you go BR.
  • Just read some post here ,  a question ask own the car , because both car in my husband car , l put 0 or 2 ?
When ask loan or credit card owned how much , do l put myself n no need put my husband , also l still need to put down how much patrol , car insurance?? Sorry for so many question

  • You don’t own a car so the answer is 0
You can put car expenses in if you use it as long as they are reasonable because he lends it to you to use. Just out of interest what’s the bus service like? Do you work? What sort of things do you use the car for?
You put your debts on the form not your husband’s debts, he’s not going BR. If any are joint debts then you put them down but he will then be liable for the full debt.
