Redundancy new lockdown

Hi all
Will extended furlong period December benefit people who have been made redundant, ie Redundancy  due end of November ?????

Comments

  • Probably not, if your company have decided to have redundancies at the end of November I cant see this changing their minds.  At best they will just kick the can further down the road a month and you will be made redundant at Xmas instead.

I'm guessing it would cost many companies money to take the extra furlough as you would have a further months employment with them. Some may do it, some may decide it's not in their interests
