Trust Deed and Credit File

Afternoon all, hope you can help with my question regarding my credit file.

I entered into a Trust Deed in Jan 2016 and was discharged Jan 2020 at the 4 year point. At the 6 year mark, Jan 2022, this will fall off my credit file completely.

My question is, will I be able to obtain a mortgage then? I’ll have circa 25% deposit. I’ve been able to obtain an American Express credit card, as well as 118 and Capita One which are paid off in full every month to help my credit score. Every other payment is made on time and no missed payments showing since 2016.

Thanks for your help..

You could ask on the mortgage board.

I can't answer that question directly but your chances with a cleanfile are always going to be better than with marks on it.

Of course you do have to answer honestly to any question asked.
