TV Brightness flashing

32" LG  TV  about 10 yrs old.  Picture is fine except brightness  varies up and down rapidly (about 100 cycles per minute)  Doesn't make it unwatchable but a bit annoying. Signal is OK via a 6way amplifier/splitter in loft. Fly lead checks out OK.
It's a bedroom TV so not used much. Is it worth getting it checked out or should I just give it end of life care?

Non crt? Would expect the back light lamp invertor, or something is up with the led backlight all depending which technology you are using?

Would guess the fixing will cost about £100-ish

Yes non CRT. Thanks for your input. £100ish sounds like  scrap it to me. Presumably even finding the problem would be half of that.

LG TVs have "eco mode" to auto adjust brightness which can be turned off . Not sure if they used it that long ago but worth checking , may be the sensor failing.

Otherwise as pointed out , it's scrap

Checked the menu and noticed it isn't LG it's a Logic TV. Shows how much attention I give it. No eco setting

Bin it. Get an LG. Cheap LG are great. I would not choose anything else on the cheap end.
