Morning all,
Yesterday seemed to disappear, not sure what happened to it. Today no plans except to look out a few warmer clothes. ATM all my winter clothes are in vacuum bags. I pulled them out from under the beds and that's as far as it goes.
Camelot, crisps, chocolate and wine is my idea of a good tea.
I agree AOD. Lockdown isn't going to make much difference to my life. In fact I will be quite relieved to be free of the uncertainties. Everything seemed to be a toss up as to whether you should be doing it or not.
I ordered myself a soup maker yesterday. Everyone I know who has one raves about it, so I decided to get one before winter really sets in. If Prime keeps its word it should be here today, but knowing how iffy deliveries are on the Island it will probably be next week. Now that is mse. A home for all those 'bottom of the fridge' sad looking veggies.
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Today cobwebs are permitted, if not positively encouraged. Thank you Halloween.I believe that friends are quiet angels

Morning all
Dry here for the moment but more rain due later, the log man returnith this morning so we will be well stocked for a while, we need to go and move the cars from the drive way so he can tip them in there, OH will lug them from there into the shed
Next door have a tree in the garden with the biggest leaves I have ever seen think size of dustbin lids !! every year they all fall into our gardenyou cant see a lot of the grass atm as its covered, I will need to get out there at some point and start raking them up, tbh I feel like throwing them back over next door !! they dont seem to have any as the wind blows them all our way !!
I am keeping everything crossed that we dont go into another lockdown, my op has been cancelled once due to covid and I have waited months for a new appointment I dont know what it will do to me mentally if they have to cancel again
Dinner tonight will be one of OH's lovely currys which are really tasty so looking forward to that. House needs a good going through and a wash is on the way.
Tru I hope Mr Tru is ok xxx
Have good days all xx12 -
Morning all, we have stormy weather here so we are hunkered down for the duration. The day is so dark I need the light on to make a cuppa and I even have the heating on !Another sleepless night and I'm shattered so not much will get done today, think it will be a Pj day. Lots of sofa sitting, web wandering, reading and TV /film watching will be the order of the day. I have found a few maybe presents so I have made a note and will try to make up my mind soon........ promise.I like Camelots idea of food, but I will forego the crisps and wine and replace them with cake and tea, may do a jacket potato with something for tea. I have an online shop to do as I now have Dad's extensive(not) list too. More crisps, cake, biscuits and ready meals for him. I give him I a couple of days to check what he needs and he always comes back with the same listI see England may have a full except education lockdown, we are having something new when we finish on the 9th. No idea what it can be, probably nor the PTB either but the local lockdowns are out of favour. They are not working anyway as lots of people here work in the city so have to travel between boroughs and the number of cases are still going upwards.Right more tea vicar ? don't mind if I do. Think I've lost the plot today
Stop sniggering at the back !
Take care all, stay safe and well.nan xxFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently12 -
Afternoon everyone
Just had a catch-up whilst eating a very tasty toastie.
AOD you've just reminded me that I have an appointment for an eye test next Saturday - expect optician's will be closed if there's a lockdown.
It won't make a lot of difference to me as I'll still be at work as I work in a nursery. Though wouldn't see as much of little one as DD wouldn't be at work.
Little one stayed last night - she slept from 7 till 7, then we sat in my bed for a while looking at books. Had a lovely morning playing till she went to see her daddy at 11.
Since then I've done an online course for work and now the afternoon is mine to spend lazily. Little one will be back for tea about 5 - I'm doing sausages and mash, so she'll be happy,
Hope everyone has a good day
