BA Holidays cheaper than rest!

Hi all
I just wanted to share this information with you all. We have been planning a holiday to Florida for next April/May. We wanted a two week twin centre in Orlando/Clearwater. All prices quoted are for 2 adults.
First we got a quote from Virgin. They wanted over £2100 for the holiday.
Next we went to First Choice. They were quoting us £1619. While this seemed more reasonable their baggage allowance is only 20kg, which in my experience is not enough for a holiday to the states. When I enquired about the possibility of purchasing more baggage allowance in advance, which Thomson provide I was told that you cannot do this with First Choice and the only way to get more allowance would be to upgrade on the flight to their premium cabin, which would have upped the cost of the holiday to over £2300!
So I popped into the British Airways holiday shop, although I wasn't expecting them to come up with any great prices and was resigning myself to 2 weeks in Spain instead of my dream holiday. Then came the surprise. BA quoted just £1639. And the great thing was that by booking before the 30th June we got a free upgrade on the flight one way
Not only that but because BA fly to Tampa too we go out to Orlando but return from Tampa, saving us the drive back. Just so you are aware with all the holidays we prices up the hotels were of the same grade. The BA holiday includes:
Return flights with a one way upgrade (And 64kg baggage!)
Car hire & insurance (we upgraded the car to a Compact 4 door)
One week at the Best Western Movieland, Orlando
One week at the Best Western Seawake
I absolutely cannot wait! I reccomend that if you are thinking of taking a long haul holiday in 2006 you check out BA first!
