I didn't know the bit about the tax allowance, so that's helpful to know.
Otherwise, it seems like there's not anything big and obvious that I was missing. I'm not too concerned about the neighbours trying to screw me around on damages/overstaying etc. Due to the location of their property (essentially accessed via my garden gate) they're highly motivated to keep me happy.0 -
We had a long garden in one property where we lived. The next door neighbours asked if they could use part of it to grow fruit and veg. They could access our garden through a gap in the hedge. We were happy to do this and they told us to help ourselves to the fruit and veg. They also tidied up the rest of our garden. We were running our own business at the time so were very busy and rarely home.
It worked a treat

NameUnavailable I think people are missing the joke.... OP the only thing I would be clear about is what happens if your drive is damaged. Maybe getting something in writing (even if not a full legal agreement) would be of some help if this happens. Your neighbours sound very reasonable though.2
