Flights to New Zealand

Grazed my way thru the screenscrapers et al for cheapest flights to New Zealand and they all hover round £1K (inc taxes)
I have absolutely no time constraints for the next 6 weeks - any suggestions on how to get the price down?

You'll struggle before Xmas. There is a cut off point. I think around the 12th Dec. After that it goes up till the New Year. We went ANZ and flew on the 10th Dec. Still expensive as its their summer. Should come down a bit mid Jan.

It is too late to find deals to NZ in the next 6 weeks. Those that exist, and Christmas is peak time, sold by Easter. As suggested earlier fares will fall by February and fall even further after Easter but if you want to go now, £1K is actually a pretty good deal

Sometimes a round the world ticket can be slightly cheaper, perhaps www.thegreatescapade.com

Not sure where you are in the Uk, but emirates can be convenient from regional airports and singapore airlines from MANchester also worth calling a travel agent such as www.trailfinders.com who may have 'inclusive tour' fares that can be good.
