Redirecting mail

Anyone on this forum, know anything about redirecting post to a new address? What happens to mail addressed to parents of ........ Just I have split from my partner. I have redirected mail to my new address for me and my 2 boys

    Depends whether the kids have the same surname as you and/or your partner, I expect.

    Redirection works by full name only - so 'to the parents of little Johnny Jones' won't be redirected if your name happened to be Patricia Jones.

    When I completed the form it said they would direct mail belonging to everyone with the same surname.
    I only requested my name but mail for my deceased husband was redirected.

    Others have reported applying & paying for redirecting mail for the 'lead applican't' only, and that mail for everyone else with same surname was redirected. Saves a few £s.
