What is the total pension value? What is your pension scheme and what it is invested in for a start?

If it is from the total "pot" and DC then, yes, it can be correct...but too little info to be sure it is.

Certainly can be correct. We had someone who's pension dropped £200,000 earlier in the year.
However, without any context we cannot really say. What is your value?
£5000 against a £100,000 pension is nothing. £5000 against a £10,000 is very large.

If your pension has a high percentage of UK equity in the portfolio, it could have dropped a lot in value, but as indicated above more detail is needed to comment further.0
