What is the total pension value? What is your pension scheme and what it is invested in for a start?

If it is from the total "pot" and DC then, yes, it can be correct...but too little info to be sure it is.

Certainly can be correct.  We had someone who's pension dropped £200,000 earlier in the year.

However, without any context we cannot really say.   What is your value?

    £5000 against a £100,000 pension is nothing.  £5000 against a £10,000 is very large.

If your pension has a high percentage of UK equity in the portfolio, it could have dropped a lot in value, but as indicated above more detail is needed to comment further.

Who probably doesn't realise that failing to reply within a couple of hours of making their first post will mean others leap to judgement. Give it a day or two; not everyone is glued to this forum.
Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!

S&P 500 has dropped 4.94% this week alone.
