I did not get accepted for a loan
I tried to apply with safety net and after asking the reason, telling them of my monthly income, my address, how much long lived there, my bank account details.
I did not get accepted saying I do not meet their criteria. It could be they checked my weekly earning and they asked for permission from my bank and minutes later came back with a decision online. My equifax score is 188.
I have a mobile phone default from 2 years ago and I I have been working for quite a while so I thought I would be approved. I have 3 defaults now, two which is ridiculous as the other one I've started paying one right now, but dates back to March. I have told them about my situation clearly.
Why didn't I get accepted?

You answered your own question to be fair: the defaults.1

I know, two are debatable and the last one, I have told them about my situation very well and money has been taken out, fraud of my account and other things and they still put a default on recently. Just recently even when knowing that. The payment date got moved for another month.bradders1983 said:You answered your own question to be fair: the defaults.0 -
They dont list defaults as "debatable" on your credit file.5

I know, but I will ask to remove it and I think it was unjustified and harsh hence I said its debatable putting those defaults.bradders1983 said:They dont list defaults as "debatable" on your credit file.0 -
Probably a blessing in disguise.0

Be carful when you apply and get declined from safety net a company will try and take 26 quid off you at some point! Happened to my girlfriend was balance republic or something had to flag it as a scam but it was in the small print when you agree to try for the loan-1

Did you default or not? If you did then they are justified.0

Could be a sign, safety net are a payday lender, why are you applying to them ?
Are you by any chance struggling ?
If you are maybe post over on the debt free wannabee board.0 -
I am struggling, only for a few days. My father will help me out. Thanks for all your replies.0

That's better than taking one of these payday loans. Nobody is guaranteed a loan - and having negative information on your credit file will put many lenders off. I didn't quite understand what you said about your defaults - but if you did default - you need to address the issues. If it was a fraudulent account, you need to address that too. In the meantime you should keep your file squeaky clean - and do your utmost to avoid short term payday lenders.Greg89 said:I am struggling, only for a few days. My father will help me out.
