FIT payments after TONIK
I have a Tonik account for both supply and FIT. Never had any problems with them at all, all very prompt and helpful. So now I am forced to move albeit probably temporarily to Scottish Power who have come back with a increased level of Standing charge and Rates for both Gas and Electric with their Basic Enrgey V2 Tariff. I will of course be moving to a better rate.
But it is the FIT payments that I am having difficulty finding out about. I know FIT has stopped but I am an existing FIT, so is this automatically transferred to SP as well? Am I correct in saying that I should get the same FIT rate I got before who ever the FIT licensee is? What is the expected legal position re FIT when a payer goes out of business?
Thanks
S

You won't be automatically switched to a new FiT provider.
You'll need to find a new FiT Licensee from the list on Ofgem's website and send in a switch application: https://www.ofgem.gov.uk/environmental-programmes/fit/contacts-guidance-and-resources/fit-licensee-contact-details
You receive the same FiT rate whoever you choose, so the main differences will be service and which suppliers you like/dislike.
Make sure you have the last reading which you submitted to Tonik and were payed on - this will likely be your switch reading and you'll receive a backdated payment for all of your unpaid generation0 -
I have not received my September 2020 FIT payment or Invoice from Tonik or the administrators, Deloitte.
Has anyone received any FIT payments or Bills from Deloitte's?
Without my September 2020 bill I cannot move to a new FIT provider
I have been given the run around by, Ofgem, Scottish Power, E.ON (whom I am trying to set up as my new FIT provider), the last message was the beginning of March saying it will be resolved in a fortnight.
