Any info please...

Hi,im looking for some advice, any info is appreciated.A few month ago my uncle passed away, he was living with his sister and family, they looked after him for years, and looked after his fianacies, bank accounts, benefits etc.
He had money in the bank,he never spent anything, never went out due to disability,he also had some inheritance approx 30K.
His parents have passed away, never had children,so if a will wasnt made his siblings would share whatever there was? His brother,my dad has passed away so me and my brother should have my dad's share? is that right?
Too be honest once my relatives realised that, i think things would of been done so me and my brother wouldnt inherit anything.Would i be able find out if and when a will was made? When money was taken out of his bank accounts? im expecting a will to be done after my dad passed away, money withdrawn and shared out already so its basically gone.I cant approach them to ask,i just would like to know why they would want to cut us out.
Thanks

Intestacy - who inherits if someone dies without a will?

The estate is shared equally between the brothers or sisters.

If a brother or sister has already died, their children (nieces and nephews of the deceased) inherit in their place.

This assumes English law and no surviving spouse, child or parent.  However, you can't yet rule out that your uncle did leave a Will leaving everything to his sister (his carer) - or that any money he had was legitimately used by his sister for his care.

Yes you should inherit if he made no will, but under the circumstances I would thought he would do so and probably leave most of his estate to the people who cared for him for years.

You can get a copy of the probate records once it has been granted, but there  is a good chance that his estate can be wound up without probate in which case you may never know whether there was a will or not.

Please think about this.  His sister has looked after him for some time now.  Do you really want her to wish she had had nothing to do with him because of the trouble you are bringing on her?  Even not doing anything costs money these days, especially if disabled.  Taxi fares are just the start.  He may have already owed her all that inheritance you are looking for.

@numpty2020 As I read this there are two deaths which I think are unrelated.

First was the death of your dad. When was this ? Did he leave a will ? Was your mum was still living ?  Were you or your brother executors or administrators of his estate ?

Second was the death of your uncle -  then see the replies above.
