Timeshare extraction

I was approached by a company called AEGIS SL who semed to know that I had a time share, they sounded very professional and a zoom meeting was arranged for a number of weeks in advance. The consultant was based in Tenerife

The meeting took place and I provided details of two timeshares that I had had before trading up to the current one, they told me that the time shares were miss sold and I could get all my money back £30k, they allegedly sent the details to Claims Solutions Group in Scotland who came back with "Claim Approved" guaranteed win ,they then again allegedly contacted Claims Solutions Group to establish a cost for the service. They came back with £7100 of which I had to pay £1423 immediatley to start the legal process ! whilst I was very uncomfortable about this probably greed got the better of me and I paid by credit card. The following monday I research this on Moneysavings and started to panic, I tried to email AEGIS but the email address on the receipt was invalid, I phoned Claims Solutions Group to say I did not want to continue and could I have my money back, they effectively said it was nothing to do with them, they had not received any money AEGIS were only a referral company and I should take it up with them.I have tried they never respond. This is a scam and I was stupid the consultant was probably an ex timeshare salesman.

If anyone gets involved with these people walk away no runaway
