TFC/Parentpay

Morning everyone
Apologies if this isn't in the correct forum, I'm not sure where to start it!
DS's school has set up Parentpay to pay for his school meals. We also use the tax free childcare scheme to pay for DD's nursery fees. I have read that you can use the TFC for Parentpay too, but I can't work out how it would be done? I've emailed the school and TFC, so I'm waiting on clarification.
Has anyone done this at all?
thanks!

It may depend on how your DD's nursery is set up but with us any hours that are covered by the TFC they do not log with ParentPay only hours in excess or outside the core hours. If your DD only attends for the core hours and is completely covered by the TFC then it is likely nothing will show up on ParentPay.Our DD attends nursery 3 days a week from 8-5, but the TFC only covers 9-4 the extra two hours a day is part of the breakfast / after school club. We provide the nursery with our TFC code and they claim for the 21 hours, and then book the remaining 6 hours a week onto ParentPay which we then have to pay for.1

You can only use TFC to pay for childcare elements provided by the school - so breakfast club, after school club or holiday club. At our school, you email the ParentPay co-ordinator (usually someone in the school office) and tell them how much you want to assign and to what childcare element and then transfer the amount to the school, they pop it on the relevant tab of our ParentPay account and then you spend it as and when you need it. You can't use it to pay for school lunches, trips or activities - unfortunately!1
