Barclays seem to have just forgot about me? Unsure what to do?

in Credit cards
Hi all,
So I have a credit card with Barclays which has a balance of £1363, had it for about three years now.
I always made above the minimum payment amounts but in January this year I had a bad month and phoned to ask if I could pay the requested amount on top of the next months payment - thought it was all okay until I received a default letter in the post in March. Panicking, I phoned Barclays, who admitted it was their mistake and that I didn't need to worry as they could see I had continued paying in Feb. I was told to bear with them whilst they corrected the account, which they said could take about 2 months, then I would start to receive statements again. Well, life happened and as I didn't hear anything since, I completely forgot about this account - it's only as I've signed up to Experian today and seen thr account there, it says it's in good standing, payments are all up to date as of last month with a credit limit of £0.
I've had literally no correspondence about this account since March - would you suggesting leaving it and wait for them to contact me at some point?
Thank you.

Hmm. So you have not made a single payment since?0

@bradders1983 nope - I was told by the advisor to wait for a statement to come through. I don't understand why online it says it's all in good standing and up to date.0

I would suggest checking one of the other credit reference agencies rather quickly to see if that tallies.
Download Clearscore (that uses Experian).
I have no idea how much of an excuse "i didnt get a statement" will fly as an excuse for not paying for 7 months though. One month: maybe. But seven? 🤷♂️0 -
@bradders1983 done that also, and says exactly the same!0

Do you not have online access?0

I would call!
They haven't forgotten about you lol. It's possible they've sold your debt. To find out I would call ASAP.0
