Sorry boring topic!
I’m in the process of buying a property and my solicitor wants details of my home insurance.
ive got a quote for £345.01 for building and contents including legal cover. The emergency insurance only cover £1000.

Interesting if you pay monthly they look at it as a loan and charge you interest.🙄
Any hints or tips to choose the right package please?

You are buying an annual policy.
You can pay for the entire policy up front... or you can take out finance which you pay back monthly over the year.2 -

Are you concerned about that?
You should check check the policy to see what it covers - it's likely to be things like boiler breakdown, leaking pipes, blocked drains.
A leaking pipe or blocked drain would normally cost less than £100 to fix, the average cost of a boiler repair might be £250 or less.
