Need help to trace my late dad's bankruptcy

  • I suspect that if dad said there was enough money to pay everyone back, there is a suggestion there might be a pot of gold to be reclaimed somewhere - is that it OP?
    If there were surplus funds then they would have been paid out long ago. All paperwork relating to this will have been destroyed ages ago as well.
    I know that but can you think of any other reason why he would want to drag up something from 30 years ago?

    Its either that or he is misunderstanding how bankruptcies work and feels a 30 year old bankrupcy, more than likely done and dusted 27+ years ago, is somehow relevant here upon death.
