ASDA, home delivery almost expired product

I was buying from Asda until last week. Fresh food being all out of date by the next day is just not on. I have not been getting anywhere with it.

There is not much point in shopping for the week if you have to eat it all in 24 hours and starve for the rest of the week.

I switched to Morrisons but a lot went back. This was the first time I had a driver willing to stay for me to look at it. I hope I have him again today.

A while back I stopped using Sainsburys because of the short dates but I have now gone back to them and they are a lot better. None of them are perfect. I recently got a big pack of manky looking chicken livers (from Asda or Morrisons) set to expire the next day. I also got some Tesco organic onions which were green mould through and through - though to be fair the outside looked ok. Had to go through the palaver of emailing photographs. Yes you can get refunds but it's not much help when you are missing key ingredients for your meals for the week and can't just pop out (I'm still shielding). One way or another, it ends up costing me more to shop online but not much option.

Todays cauliflower was a lot bigger than my mushroom sized one last week but it is tomorrows date.
Have requested a refund online and had it approved within 10 minutes. The other dates were OK this week.
