Hello, I have received today my groceries from asda by home delivery. The meat has tomorrow as expiration date. I have received the groceries at around 4pm then it will be expired in 8 hours. What can I do ? Maybe a compliant at asda customer service ?
Thank you.

Take a photo and email them, probably will refund the product and freeze the meat.
  • Or cook it and eat it?

Eat or freeze the meat. go online to your Asda order, hit refund and get it refunded. Job done.

This, ^^^^^ I've found Asda are very good at no quibble refunds, at least for just one or two items

They are not responding to emails, but as Sarah1972 said just ask for a refund online choosing the short date option. I had quite a few last week that the dates were very short. I even had a pack of bacon with 3 days left on it. Bacon does not have a typically fresh for so many days on the website so I just used it quickly. The dates were OK on this weeks delivery but the cauliflower was more the size of a mushroom, I will be lucky to get a meal for 2 out of it.  If I have another one like that I will give it back to the driver.

Yes I did that a couple of weeks ago for an item that expired on the delivery date. They confirmed the refund within about 30 minutes.

I was not aware you could do it online. I phoned up when I got some nasty fruit and was refunded there and then.

Tesco are awful at sending out products close to their expiry date.

I had one like that, they must have used tweezers to pick it up :)
