So we may be in the restrictions for a good few months longer, but which Companies have stepped up in your opinion or have helped you and which have been seriously lacking in help, flexibility or morals?
Personally, for me the following;
Wetherspoons for the get a job in Tesco comment and when things return, I'll be eating a breakfast in a local establishment and drinking elsewhere for local trade.
Ryanair for the attitude on refunds and changes, which affected me and I lost out on money
Lastminute.com been awful too and took 5 months of harrassment by email to finally get my money back
Metro Inns who were really flexible and moved a booking to next year and price is cheaper than original booking
Travelodge refunded and were flexible
Hermes have stepped up in my opinion local to me and always friendly

I don't fly with RyanAir anyway due to their penny pinching.
But as much as I hate Tim Martin, the comments he made were BEFORE the government furlough scheme was announced. If the government say the pubs can't open, but there is no money to pay the staff then the advice of getting a job elsewhere was good. Once the goverment agreed to pay furlough all the staff were paid that way instead.0 -
For me its the Consumer wanting more than is reasonable in a pandemic .
