Being an executor does not mean that you have to do the work yourselves.  I was executor to my mother and brother but passed all the work over to a solicitor.

If claiming PIP Trusts for vulnerable people may be appropriate rather than a direct inheritance.

Claiming PIP does not necessarily mean you are vulnerable, especially as it appears the OP is working as gets WTC...

As I am registered severe sight impaired I am classed as vulnerable. It does not mean you cannot work.

So vulnerable you cannot be trusted with your own finances? Seems doubtful and pretty condescending...

Who said anything about not being trusted with my own finances? That's just a  non sequitur. and seems to me willfully disingenuous. As for condescending,  well, look at yourself..Why don't you turn your righteousness on big companies like Amazon or Starbucks, or wealthy people who can afford to pay accountants to help them dodge taxes. I suppose it's far less effort to do a little casual trolling of people with disabilities on internet forums. You try living with what I do.

You are wanting to put something in place to make your money inaccessible in such a way to continue with means tested benefits. If you are financially sound and able to handle your own money, then a ‘vulnerable persons trust’ is not appropriate.

Just man up and spend your own (inherited) money like everyone else has to, and then when it’s back to the limit level you can claim your benefits again. You are wanting to be treated favourably on the basis of your disability, but that’s not what these things are there for if you can manage your own finances.
