Hi expert tribe!
I was searching online for a realiable Trade Union for the insurance sector professionals/IFA professionals but has been unable to find anything.
So I'd like to ask the expert insurance/IFA professionals tribe here what Trade Union you would suggest me to join?
I'm looking for one that offers reliable advice on employment rights and reliable representation when issues at work arise, if the membership includes legal assistance on other matters that'd be a plus.
Any info will be very welcomed!
Kind regards!

I'm not sure there is one for IFAs. The vast majority of IFAs are either self employed or directors of their own company or work for small companies. There used to be unions for banks and insurance company workers but don't know if they still exist today.
I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.1 -

Many moons ago, we didn't have a union in my tribe, just a staff association which seemed to have a cosy relationship with the Big Chiefs
