AA Insurance Cashback Declined TWICE!

I have been using Topcashback for years to get a few pounds back for the purchases that I make.  A few years ago, I purchased AA Insurance and the cashback was declined by the AA.  Last month, I did the same and I got a response from Topcashback saying "Unfortunately, it seems as though they have taken the decision to decline your claim as we have not been identified as the last channel to your sale." 

That is not true, as I followed the process laid out on the Topcashback site as I always do, which involves clearing cookies, getting a quote and purchasing in a single sitting.  I did not use any other codes.  I now suspect that the AA have dodgy practices to entice you via cashback and then not pay out.  I am not going to test this a third time and I have now decided never to purchase anything from the AA.  They are not a great company anyway and two failed cashback transactions, have meant that they will not get my custom again after this year's insurance expires.

I stopped having anything to do with cash back years ago because it is never guaranteed.

Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.  I use Quidco and ever since I installed the browser extension I have not had a single failure.  You could try that.
