Possible broken door lock barrel

Couldn't lock my door when leaving earlier....The key turns say 3/4 of the way and stops and the door doesn't lock.
It's just over 5 years old, UPV door.
I believe it has a "euro lock" barrel....(I'm not a locksmith!)
I can't see where the deadbolt comes out.
All the rollers and hooks seem to be working and engaging.
Any idea what the issue is here and how I can fix it?

The deadlock should shoot out when you lift the handle, along with the hooks.  The barrel is simple enough to remove, just unscrew the one screw holding it in place from the side of the door - you can at least then inspect it free of the door to decide if its at fault.

On my other doors the deadbolt only extends when I turn the key, not when I raise the handle....that said they are much older doors.

First thing to try is WD40 into all the working parts.  I had a similar problem and phoned a local locksmith.  He recommended doing that as it often fixes problems with sticking locks.  It certainly did the job for me.  I've used it again a couple of times since, but it must be over 10 years since the original problem and I still have the same lock.

So I removed the barrel and when the key is inserted the cam spins freely, so to me that suggests the problem is not the barrel.  I've also Wd40'd.  No better.

    Any other advice...

Only other advice is either to replace the entire locking mechanism yourself or contact a local locksmith.
