Full House Renovation - Is this quote reasonable??

I live in Southwest Scotland and have need the following work completed on a newly bought house (Semi-detached, 4 Bed, 1 Bath, 1 Kitchen, 1 Living room/Dining Room.:
  • full re-plaster of all walls/ceilings
  • complete re-wire including garage and adding in additional power points, networking, NEST thermostat, Ring doorbell etc.
  • New windows throughout
  • New Internal doors
  • Removing an old kitchen/bathroom (but not installing new ones - this will be handled separately)
  • New finishings (Skirting/Architraves)
  • New Bannister on staircase.
I have been quoted £50,000 inc VAT  for this work which seems like an awful lot for the work being asked for. Does this seem reasonable?

  • You really need to get 4 quotes and compare, that 50k seems pricey.

In my experience this feels very very expensive particularly if not putting back kitchen or a bathroom.

As above, I’d get a few more quotes from people recommended to you.

According to the OPs other thread, the work has already been done so it's a moot point
